Anderson County Teacher Day Celebrations

Anderson County Career and Technical School –  Teacher appreciation week was very eventful. We made pancakes for the teachers on Monday. They received a treat in their mailbox on Tuesday. Wednesday they were allowed to wear shorts to work. Thursday we served them snow cones and popcorn during lunch. And Friday we treated them to Buddy’s BBQ with chips and dip, coleslaw and baked beans and chocolate chip cookies. Cindy, one of our teachers, said that it was the best teacher week we have had yet.The A Team created a poster of Care Bears representing our classes such as cosmetology, carpentry etc.. For starters notes addressed to all teachers from students throughout the school were displayed on the ocean themed bulletin board. Gifts and treats each day of the week made for sweet celebration of all that our teachers do. Snacks, sand buckets filled with treats, a luncheon, a catered breakfast, and a dessert bar filled the week. AES appreciates all teachers. Click here for the photos.

Students created a variety of sailboat themed gifts including sculptures and watercolor paintings. The students made posters and cards and, with help from the art teacher, created a poster from a list of quotes. It was a fabulous event! Click here for the photos.

Clinton High School – At CHS, we turned our Teacher/Teacher Aide Appreciation into a week-long celebration. On Monday, our registrar generously provided an assortment of home-baked cookies for everyone to enjoy. On Wednesday, all of the teachers got chocolate in their mailboxes. On Thursday, everyone received Chick-fil-a cards that were good for a free sandwich, nuggets, or other goodies. We ended on Friday with cake, and thank-you notes from students. Our teachers liked the goodies, but the notes from students are definitely a highlight! Click here for the photos.
