Hawkins County Teacher Day Celebrations
Carter’s Valley Elementary School – Carter’s Valley celebrated Teacher Appreciation Day on May 6th. Door prizes were awarded door prizes throughout the day with everything from exercise accessories to selfie sticks! We dressed in Nautical/Beach attire and sailed away to a room decorated for the beach. We enjoyed a live view from Miami with a homemade backdrop and props for photo opportunities. We also enjoyed an hour long lunch from Grange Hall United Methodist Church. Each teacher was given a bag full of items to relax with over our summer break! What a great day filled with surprises. Church Hill Middle School – The teachers and staff at Church Hill Middle School were treated to a wonderful lunch provided by Ridgeview Baptist Church for teacher appreciation day. Students also made signs and wrote letters of appreciation for our teachers. Treat bags were also made for them. Click here for the photos.
Joseph Rogers Primary School – All of the teachers were sailed away to a local BBQ restaurant to have lunch with their grade levels and friends. Teachers also received notes of Appreciation from their students throughout the week. This lunch was a great time for teachers to relax and converse and just have fun. Click here for the photos.
Keplar Elementary School– Keplar teachers sailed into a lunch at Hale Springs Inn. upon there return to port they received a free admission to the Titanic in Pigeon Forge. They are loved by their students . They received a small token of appreciation every day this week. The students made cards.Port Keplar is one of the best Click here for the photos.
McPheeters Bend Elementary School – All teacher received a lunch prepared by staff. They also received a small gift each day in their mailboxes. On May 6 they received a ticket to sail away on the titanic exhibit in Pigeon forge .McPheeters Bend has a great bunch of teachers. Click here for the photos.
