Support Staff Day recap
Appreciation continues even during quarantine and social distancing. School coordinators are coming up with creative ways to highlight and honor the last 2 groups of honorees-Support Staff and Teachers. Support Staff Day may have look differently than the other days but the staff members were still honored. Several coordinators put a poster on their school’s website letting parents and staff members know about the day. They also used social media to give shout outs to their Support Staff honorees. Lake City Elementary in Anderson County honored their Support Staff members with a video filled with photos of students holding handmade thank you signs while a teacher sang the rewritten song in the background. It has been beautiful to see students still honoring their beloved staff members.
