To qualify for an Appreciation Grant, participating Utrust member schools must meet specific criteria for the current year. Schools must have a functioning A-Team (Appreciation Team) actively participating in the Utrust Appreciation Program. Additionally, schools are required to participate in all eight designated Utrust appreciation days throughout the school year. The $250 received through the A-Team grant must be used exclusively to purchase supplies for the A-Team to carry out the Utrust Appreciation Program. Schools must also post photos, videos, and summaries of activities for each of the eight appreciation days on the Utrust Coordinators Closed Group Facebook page, providing documentation for auditors and sharing successes with fellow coordinators statewide.
If your school has a G-Force (Gratitude Force) made up of at least one student from each homeroom classroom or another student leadership group performing the G-Force monthly mission, in addition to having an A-Team, you are eligible to receive a $500 total appreciation grant. To be eligible, schools must check the boxes designating they will post photos and videos to the closed Facebook group and indicate the presence of a G-Force. At the beginning of the school year, each Utrust member system school that submits the completed form and agrees to the terms will receive an appreciation grant from Utrust in the form of a $250 check or a $500 grant if they also have a G-Force.
