We are excited for this year’s Utrust Appreciation Program (UAP) theme – Get in the Game – Sports! We have exciting new things happening this year to make the program easier and even more successful! We truly want to change the culture of our schools and beyond to one of heartfelt appreciation and gratitude. Here are a few highlights of what is new this year:
NEW WEBSITE!
You’re here and we are brand new! Be sure to sign up for an account so that you can access ALL parts of the website including valuable resources and tools. (Your old credentials will not work!) And there is now a dedicated section for the Appreciation Program that is more user-friendly!
THE CULTURE INITIATIVE!
We have just launched the Culture Initiative to further advance a culture of gratitude in our schools, homes and communities. If you’re already participating in the Utrust Appreciation Program, it’s simple to add this on and take advantage of the Culture Grant money! To learn more and apply, click the button below.
THE BIRTHDATE CHALLENGE!
This is a core idea for the school to implement for the Culture Initiative to “spread the love!” The Birthdate Challenge asks all students and staff to, on the date of their birth each month (e.g., if their birthday is July 10, then on the 10th of each month), select at least one student and one staff member to express specific appreciation. Have fun with it!
NEW G-FORCE!
We have changed the way the G-Force is configured to make it even easier for your school to continue to spread appreciation and gratitude. The “new” G-Force will consist of a group of 10-12 students selected by the School Coordinator or Principal to help bring a culture of gratitude to the school year-round, with programs like the Birthdate Challenge and Bravo Boards.
SOCIAL MEDIA FOR YOUR SCHOOL!
This year, we have included social media graphics and suggested posts for your social media to promote each appreciation day. We have made it so easy to just copy and paste! We suggest you post to your school’s Facebook Page and be sure to tag Utrust. It’s a great way to communicate with parents and the community about all the good that you are doing in the school with the UAP! You can access social media post content on each of the Appreciation Theme Day website pages.
